Michelle has been practising yoga since 2017 after discovering the profound effects of yoga on the mind and body from her first class. She has since always turned to the mat as a sanctuary from the demands of modern life. During some challenging years she began to discover the deeper dimensions of yoga and embarked on her journey of self-discovery.
She is deeply grateful to all her teachers particularly Stewart Gilchrist and Emi Tull for their inspiration and compassion.
Omkari means to live in consciousness. Yoga teaches us how to get there step by step.
Having reaped such profound benefits from the gift of yoga, she wishes to share her experience with anyone willing to learn. She is a certified 500 hour registered yoga teacher having completed 200 hours of training with Sivananda Yoga in Austria, and 300 hours in Yogasana with Stewart Gilchrist in London.
Yogasana is a dynamic and invigorating style of Vinyasa yoga, which links breath to movement. In these classes students experience increased mind-body awareness, a deep sense of emotional well-being and improved mental and physical health.
Meditation and deep relaxation is incorporated in each class and students are supported individually through tailored hands-on assists and adjustments. Classes also encompass yoga philosophy and its useful applications to daily life.
